Minimum Feature Set
Objective
Identify a prioritised feature list needed to satisfy the absolute basic needs of the user and adds real business value.
Workshop
Tasks:
- Nominate a participant to scribe the 'Feature Set' for the next step(s)
- Group to discuss and agree the epics required to complete the most important user scenario from the journey map
- Group to discuss and agree the stories that may be included under each epic
- List in order of importance and/or dependency
- Group to draw a line across the 'Feature Set' to determine the minimum feature set
- Consider needs of the user vs. business value
- Anything above the line represents what we need to build for the first release
